Great!

"Éva Janikovszky’s “Great!” is a delicious variation of the tale of the well-meaning but frustrated king who after trying, unsuccessfully, to create laws to make everyone happy, comes up with “Everybody must be good!” This time our mischievous hero wrestles with the mental problem of how to make everything great for everybody – his parents, grandparents, little sister and visiting neighbours. Even when he thinks he has discovered what makes all these people feel great, he is surprised to find that their motives are quite different from what he had imagined."
